Free option

Register one number for free.

Submit one number’s details to Hiya, First Orion, and TNS at once, free. It’s the simplest way to tell the analytics engines a number belongs to a real business.

Opens freecallerregistry.com in a new tab. CIDSync is an independent product and doesn’t operate the registry.

Free registry vs. branded calling

The free registry establishes that your number is legitimate. Branded calling goes further and puts your business name on the screen. It’s delivered under your own agreement with an analytics engine, and CIDSync keeps your numbers synced inside it.

Branded calling itself is delivered by the analytics engine under your own agreement. CIDSync doesn’t provide branded calling and isn’t a reseller: it introduces you to a Hiya Connect account, helps you get set up, and keeps your numbers registered inside that agreement.

Branded calling runs on your own agreement

Putting your business name on the screen means an analytics engine has to confirm one thing first: that you are the business that owns those numbers. That check happens under your own account with the engine, which is why branded caller ID is always delivered through your own direct agreement with one of the three primaries: Hiya for AT&T, First Orion for T-Mobile, or TNS for Verizon.

The verification is the point: only the confirmed owner of a number can brand it, so no one else can put your name on their calls. That protection lives in the agreement, and the agreement stays yours.

Your engine agreement

The engine verifies that you own your numbers, then displays your business name and call reason on outbound calls. You hold the account, and the branded calling is delivered by the engine.

CIDSync, the sync layer

CIDSync introduces you to a Hiya Connect account and helps you get set up, then keeps every active ServiceTitan number registered inside your agreement, every night. It synchronizes. It doesn’t sell branded calling.

CIDSync is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ServiceTitan, Hiya, First Orion, TNS, or any carrier. Branded calling is delivered through Hiya Connect under your own agreement, and CIDSync does not guarantee answer rates, spam-label removal, or how any carrier displays your numbers.

When the free registry is enough

If you only have one number and don’t need your business name on the screen, the free registry may be all you need. Here’s the honest breakdown.

What you get, free

  • One submission reaches all three engines
  • Helps a legitimate number avoid accidental spam flags
  • Completely free

What it won’t do

  • No branded name/logo display on calls
  • No analytics or status dashboard
  • One number at a time, not a fleet
  • No guarantee, and you manage it yourself

The registry is for businesses registering their own numbers (not service providers registering on others’ behalf), and registering doesn’t override poor calling practices. US carriers only.
