Onboarding guide

From signup to synced.

The first decision is the platform that carries your branded caller ID. Get that account ready and the rest is a single sitting.

Choose your branded caller-ID platform

CIDSync syncs into Hiya Connect today, the proven path. First Orion support is in development, so you can connect your First Orion account now. TNS remains on the roadmap, and we’ll announce it when it ships, not before.

Already have a Hiya account?

Make sure it’s enabled for API access. Hiya Connect API credentials are provisioned by request with Hiya, and branded-calling accounts don’t always start with them. If yours isn’t enabled yet, it’s a quick ask, and we’re glad to help you make it.

Don’t have a Hiya account yet?

We’ll help you get set up. Tell us about your business and we’ll make a direct introduction to Hiya to get your account established with API access from day one, so by the time you start the CIDSync trial, there’s something real to connect.

Get connected with Hiya

Gather these credentials

ServiceTitan App Key: one per account

Found on the CIDSync app’s page in the ServiceTitan developer portal. CIDSync asks for it once and reuses it for every tenant you add.

Per ServiceTitan tenant: Client ID, Client Secret, Tenant ID

Generated inside each tenant under Settings → Integrations → API Application Access (or centrally through Enterprise Hub for franchise and multi-location organizations). ServiceTitan issues one credential pair per tenant. That’s their model, and CIDSync’s per-tenant connectors match it.

Hiya Connect App ID and Secret

From your own Hiya Connect account with API access enabled (see the step above if you don’t have that yet). Branded calling stays under your agreement, at your rates. One Hiya connection covers all your brands.

The checklist

Eight steps to synced

Get your caller-ID platform ready

Hiya Connect is the proven, supported platform today; First Orion support is in development, so you can connect it now (TNS remains on the roadmap). Have an account? Confirm API access is enabled. It's provisioned by request with Hiya. No account yet? Tell us about your business and we'll make a direct introduction to get you set up with API access from day one.

Sign up and start the 7-day preview trial

Card required at signup (identity check, nothing syncs live during the trial). You'll see your conversion date immediately and get a reminder before the first charge.

Connect Hiya

Connections page → Hiya card → paste your Hiya Connect App ID and Secret. Saving automatically scans your account and imports every existing brand as a profile, so your mapping vocabulary is preloaded before you touch ServiceTitan.

Add your first ServiceTitan tenant

One form: a tenant name, that tenant's Client ID and Secret, the App Key, the Tenant ID, and the Hiya brand picked from the dropdown. One save creates the connector, the sync source, and the brand mapping together.

Repeat for each additional tenant (fleets)

The App Key auto-fills after your first connector, so each additional tenant is four fields and a brand pick, about a minute each. Rename, Edit source, and Delete live right on each connector's card.

Run the dry-run preview

Preview page → Run dry-run. Review per connector with the filter: “Already matches” is healthy, “Would create” is what CIDSync will register, and amber “Brand conflict” rows are numbers branded to another business, flagged for your review and never overwritten by design. Add an override rule only when a rebrand is truly intended.

Subscribe (or let the trial convert)

Live sync begins the moment your subscription is active: the backfill registers everything the preview planned, then nightly runs keep every tenant registered automatically. Anything needing attention lands in your notifications.

Check your billing page

Every tenant appears as its own named invoice line at its band rate: the first tenant is $99/month, tenants 2-10 are $29, and past ten drop to $19. Annual prepay (2 months free) is an explicit option.

The fine print, up front

Adding an acquired company later is step 4 again: same one form, prorated automatically onto your invoice as its own named line, no sales call.

Support and exit: support answers within one business day. Cancel any time from the portal. Everything CIDSync registered stays in your own Hiya account (the engine has no delete path to it by design), your history is exportable for 60 days, and stored credentials are deleted within 30.

CIDSync is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ServiceTitan, Hiya, First Orion, TNS, or any carrier. Branded calling is delivered through Hiya Connect under your own agreement, and CIDSync does not guarantee answer rates, spam-label removal, or how any carrier displays your numbers.
